Overview
PeruSpatial Hub is an open-source QGIS plugin that centralizes access to spatial data infrastructures and public geospatial services from major Peruvian institutions. It discovers live ArcGIS REST directories and verified WMS services, allowing users to explore and load native raster and vector layers without assembling each connection manually.
The plugin is designed for geology, geography, remote sensing, environmental engineering, archaeology, geophysics, mining, hydrocarbons, hydrogeology, and other workflows that depend on official Peruvian spatial information.

- Unified catalog of official GIS directories organized by institution and theme.
- Real-time search by keywords such as earthquakes, concessions, watersheds, geology, or environmental monitoring.
- Discovery of ArcGIS services and sublayers with direct loading through native QGIS raster and vector providers.
- Registration of WMS, WMTS, and ArcGIS REST connections in the native QGIS Browser panel.
- CRS and datum guidance for workflows involving PSAD56, WGS84, and SIRGAS UTM data.
- Transparent source-status information for unavailable, restricted, or technically invalid services.
Integrated public sources
The catalog includes verified services published by institutions such as INGEMMET, IGN, IDEP, ANA, IGP, MINAM, SERNANP, SERFOR, the Ministry of Culture, OSINERGMIN, and OEFA. Availability depends on the external infrastructure maintained by each institution.
PeruSpatial Hub does not embed credentials, bypass captchas, or disable certificate validation to reach restricted services.
Install from QGIS
PeruSpatial Hub is available through the official QGIS Python Plugins Repository. In QGIS, open Plugins → Manage and Install Plugins, search for PeruSpatial Hub, and select Install Plugin.
