Effective date: July 12, 2026
These Terms of Service apply to Lithica Cloud Sync, provided by Jordan Zavaleta under the developer identity GisGeo Dev. By installing or using the plugin, you agree to these terms.
1. Service
Lithica Cloud Sync is a QGIS plugin that uses Google OAuth 2.0 to find and download selected Lithica Explorer and Lithica Mapper project backups from Google Drive for local use in QGIS. Access is read-only and the plugin does not edit, upload, replace, or delete Drive files.
2. User responsibilities
You must use the plugin lawfully, protect access to your Google account and device, and ensure that you are authorized to access and process the selected project data. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and verifying downloaded data before relying on it.
3. Google services
Use of Google Drive and Google OAuth is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies. You may revoke the plugin's access through your Google Account at any time. Availability may depend on Google APIs, QGIS, internet connectivity, and compatible project files.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the plugin to violate law, infringe rights, bypass access controls, disrupt services, distribute malicious code, or access data without authorization.
5. Intellectual property
The plugin and its source code are provided under the license published with the software repository. These terms do not transfer ownership of GisGeo Dev names, branding, or other protected materials. Your project data remains yours.
6. No warranty
The plugin is provided as available and without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. GisGeo Dev does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every QGIS or Google API version, or that downloaded project data will be complete or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GisGeo Dev and Jordan Zavaleta are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from use or inability to use the plugin.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service by uninstalling the plugin and revoking its Google access. Access or support may be limited when needed to protect users, comply with law, or prevent abuse.
9. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the plugin changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Questions may be sent to jordanzav@gisgeo.dev.
